VISITOR INFORMATION ~ TICKET SALES OPEN IN MAY

Historic Concordia Neighbors promote the neighborhood through historic preservation. Since the early 1990s, Historic Concordia Neighbors has played an integral part in the area’s ongoing revival. We are a nonprofit, volunteer-driven group consisting of homeowners, renters, churches and other nonprofit groups with an interest in the long-term health and growth of the neighborhood. Proceeds from our Home Tour support our mission to promote the Concordia neighborhood through historic preservation, community involvement and neighborhood pride.

This year we celebrate 36 years of neighborhood collaboration with a legacy of seasonal events, neighborhood tours, and community initiatives. The Concordia neighbors branded the annual historic home tour, Stewards of History, a befitting moniker.

This year, Stewards of History proudly present “Snapshots in time; a journey through the decades” with a special presentation by Guest Speaker Bobby Tanzilo. This year’s theme is designed to provide a visual perspective on the passage of time in the Historic Concordia Neighborhood. Visitors will be able to see the changes in the neighborhood through visual media. With many houses in the neighborhood dating back to the invention of photography, we hope to offer a visual experience spanning well over 120 years of one of Milwaukee’s most storied neighborhoods.
