Barry’s first experienceS IN the CONCORDIA neighborhood wERE IN THE 1990S, BACK WHEN HE WAS A TEENAGE ACTOR IN PLAYS AT INDIAN COMMUNITY SCHOOL (now Potawatomi campus). THESE DAYS HE TEACHES PERFORMING ARTS AT highland community school, just a short walk from his concordia home (and an even shorter bike ride).

a creative mind with a BA in Fashion Patternmaking and an MA in education, Deb works for the Florentine Opera as a stitcher/cutter/draper, teaches fashion and works as a free-lance fit specialist and technical designer

tracy bredow santilli

tracy brings 15+ years of experience as a brand manager, marketer, and fundraiser for several nonprofits. tracy is also a dedicated volunteer on hcni’s home tour planning committee; and hopes to continue creating initiatives that further strengthen our sense of community.

kokugonza moved to historic Concordia in 2020 and was impressed by the welcoming environment. her goal is to bring more business to the community and for it to be a nice enough place that the people don’t want to move.

BOARD SECRETARY

with a career in the nonprofit sector, aaron’s biggest goals are building on the community spirit that has been fostered throughout the concordia neighborhood’s history. he is especially interested in having better cared for public spaces in the neighborhood and a revitalized 27th Street commercial corridor

Allyson Nemec

As both a resident and business owner in the Concordia Neighborhood for over 20 years, Allyson lives and breathes all things Milwaukee. Allyson works as an architect, and brings her advocacy for the arts and community into both her personal and professional life. You might also find her sailing Lake Michigan; hiking, biking or listening to live music in Milwaukee’s parks!
